I am a recent law graduate and while I do not have a business, I found this website truly inspiring. I am currently trying to decide what move to make next with regard to my career. I was contemplating going down the barrister route, however whenever I suggested this to anyone, all I received was negative comments regarding the lack of job prospects in the current economic climate, the expense involved, the hard work to be undertaken etc. They had nearly succeeded in deterring me from going down this route. However, after reading the material on this webpage, in particular the interview with Mr O’ Ceidigh of Aer Arann and Mr. O’ Máille’s e-book, I have a completely different attitude to the situation. To quote Mr. O’ Ceidigh, ‘the only failure is not trying’. I have decided to go ahead and sit the bar exams next year and even if it turns out not to be the career from me, I’m sure I will learn some valuable lessons along the way. Thanking you sincerely.
