About
Hello, My name is Padraic O Maille and you're very welcome to my website
Facilitator – Speaker – Mentor

Pádraic is co-founder of ÓMáilleGroup and BizPal, two businesses that help business owners and managers build better businesses.

He has worked as a salesperson, a sales manager, and a general manager prior to becoming a senior management consultant working with some of the worlds leading organisations.

His goal is to inspire and motivate clients to achieve improved performance through practical and challenging content, process and learning.

A dynamic and uplifting speaker, facilitator and mentor he has helped thousands of individuals to:

  • Clarify their goals
  • Confront brutal reality
  • Commit to workable plans
  • Solve problems
  • Increase sales
  • Decrease stress and
  • Grow their business and career

His best know speeches and seminars include:

Think and Grow Rich – The Seminar

  • Get Selling ‘Cause You Can’t Do Business Sitting On Your Ass’
  • Customers Come First
  • The Time Of Your Life
  • We all Communicates, Few Connect
  • The BizPal Way – How to Work “On” Your Business as opposed to “In” it.

His core philosophy includes:

  1. Learning to learn is life’s greatest skill, and by mastering it you can achieve virtually anything you set out to achieve. A good question to ask yourself, your partner, your children, your customers and your team therefore is “What did you learn today?”
  2. Learning is best achieved incrementally. If you were to improve by just 1% in an area daily you would double your effectiveness in 72 days. The trick is to focus on those few critical areas as opposed to the “trivial many”.
  3. Direction, not perfection, is paramount. There’s no point going faster if you’re going in the wrong direction.
  4. Current reality is key. In order to get from A to B, you first need to know where A and B are.
  5. Your attitude is way more important than your bank balance, your leaving certificate, your past failures or your future dreams. Like washing though, you need to work at it daily.
  6. Get around a tough crowd because Jim Rohn the great American writer says ”You are the average of the five people you are surrounded by most of the time”.
  7. Get selling because “nothing happens until someone sells something”. His favourite quote comes from Frank Bettger whose selling life was transformed by this one sentence. “Show me any (person) of ordinary ability who will earnestly tell their story to four or five people a day, and I’ll show you someone who can’t help but make good”.

Pádraic is a former chairman of the Galway International Oyster Festival and a Past President of Junior Chamber Galway. He is an active member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.

Padraic is a B.Comm Graduate from N.U.I. Galway, holds a diploma in Marketing Practice and a Certificate in Training and Learning from N.U.I. Maynooth.

In 2009, in conjunction with Offaly County Enterprise Board, he produced the highly acclaimed DVD “Conversations with Doers”. He is currently producing a series of newspaper articles titled “Conversation With Achievers” which can be viewed on the blog.

A lover of the Irish language his hobbies are fishing, boating, Galway Hurling and Connacht Rugby.

His clients say of him:

“I have learned more in one half day than I did an entire Degree Programme”

Brid Fox, Cater Care

“Padraic is the one of the best motivational speakers I have ever listened to. There is an infectious enthusiasm embedded in his presentations, and in all that he does…Padraic connects wonderfully with his audience and if you get to chance to hear Padraic speak, do not turn it down…”

Brian Callaghan

“I have heard Padraic deliver the same presentation three times and each time I have taken something completely different from it. Succeeds in making complex topics interesting, engaging and useable”

Graham Royce, LEAP

“Padraic is a fantastic speaker. He spoke at the Mid-West Entrepreneurship Seminar in Limerick Institute of Technology in 2008 and really energised the crowd. In general he’s great to work with, brimming with enthusiasm and positive energy.”

Gerard Hartnett, Director, coclarity.com

“Padraic O’ Maille is an excellent facilitator and motivational speaker. Working with Padraic on events for the Marketing Institute of Ireland (West Region), I can attest to his sixth sense in reading an audience and his ability to tailor his material to suit specific occasions. Padraic also has an innate ability to ask the difficult questions and by doing so has helped many business owners to identify and reach their business goals.”

Carmel Dooley, Owner, PRWORKS

“Padraic is an outstanding motivational speaker, with an uncanny knack of connecting with his audience. He also has an excellent track record in strategic planning with SME’s.”

Michael Byrnes, Director, Michael Byrnes & Associates Limited

In a conversation with the serial achiever, business person and teacher Padraig O Ceidigh, he once revealed to me that he was never either a teacher or a business person.” I was first and foremost a Facilitator of Learning”.

He went on to elaborate that “learning to learn” ranks up there as one of life’s greatest skills. If we were to master that skill we could effectively achieve whatever we set out to achieve in business and in life.

If you think about it, there are simple tasks like tying your shoe lace or brushing your teeth that once were massive ordeals for you to perform.

But through trial and error, persistence and a bit of feedback from those more proficient than you around you, you succeeded in mastering these previously difficult tasks.

And if you can learn to tie a shoe or brush your teeth, it follows that you can learn to play a Beethoven sonata or sail the Atlantic or transform your businerss or relationships.

In fact you can transmute your most pressing problems of today into your greatest opportunities for the future.

That’s the purpose of our business and indeed this website. To facilitate learning.

And you can do this in 4 ways.

1. Observe, and study, and model the behaviours and characteristics of the achievers we interview weekly in “Conversations With Achievers”. If someone else has overcome great odds in achieving greatness or defeating adversity, so too can you. Learning from other high achievers is still the most powerful and potent method of learning. If in doubt, just consider why Kerry footballers win the football All Ireland most years or why Kilkenny hurlers win the hurling …… and so on. Success leaves clues.

2. Participate in the weekly “Conversations With Achievers” blog. Interaction greatly accelerates the learning process and your ability to make enduring change easily and quickly.

3. Come along to one of our training courses or seminars or arrange for us to have one performed in-house. They are amongst the most informative and enjoyable seminars of their type in Ireland and will save you tons in having to source the material yourself.

4. Finally, make the time to to have a BizPal mentor conduct a BizPal Strategic Planning Workshop. BizPal is a wonderful new business that we launch in May and it will enable you to take control of your business for once and for all. Anyone booking prior to April 30th will get free BizPal software for 6 months worth e300.

Call us or email us, and we’ll have one of our BizPal Mentors listen to your story. At the very worst you’ll get an attentive and experienced ear. At the best, it may just be the most important phone call or email you ever make as it may just be the catalyst to facilitate the transformation of your business.

I wish you great and masterful learning.

Beir bua,

Padraic O Maille.

Facilitator of Learning
